The HTC Touch Pro2 is the successor to the Touch Pro. Similar in specification to the smaller Touch Diamond2, the Pro2 has a larger screen and an impressive QWERTY keyboard. They both have a sleek, professional look and are expected to be this year’s best-selling business phones. The most striking feature of the Pro2 is its high resolution 3.6 inch touchscreen. Just fractionally smaller than the colossal screen found on the Touch HD. The five row QWERTY keyboard is slightly larger than previous HTC QWERTY devices. It has an offset key pattern, just like on a laptop and the screen can tilt at different angles, which is useful. Place the Pro2 face down and it becomes a comprehensive speakerphone with a high quality speaker on the back, a microphone, noise cancellation sensor and a mute button.
The Touch Pro2 comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional which incorporates pocket Office, comprising Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and PDF view. All of these features help make the device a very desirable prospect in the business marketplace. Bundled with a 3.2 megapixel camera which has auto focus for good quality image capture. As expected with most Smartphone’s the Pro2 has Wi-fi, HSPDA (up to 7.2 Mbps), GPS and Bluetooth. Other features include the TouchFLO finger swipe navigation, touch sensitive navigation controls, handwriting recognition, a very good web browser, FM radio with RDS, a VGA videocall camera, the list goes on and on!
